Our beautiful garden rooms are built precisely to suit your needs, making them a perfect addition to your home.
Whether you need a peaceful home office, a creative studio, a guest room, or a place to simply unwind, we can create exactly what you’re looking for, in whatever size you need.

Handcrafted Quality
Each of our Garden Rooms are hand built in our workshop in the hills near Carmarthen, where craftsmanship and attention to detail are at the heart of what we do.
We use engineered steel, premium timber and proven construction methods to ensure your room not only looks beautiful but stands the test of time. We use only responsibly-sourced timber – celebrating the natural grain and character of each piece. This respect for materials extends to our entire design process, ensuring your garden room is built with sustainability and longevity in mind.
From precision joinery to carefully finished interiors, every element is crafted with care and intention, to create the look that you want.
Endless possibilities
Your imagination sets the limit. We’ve created garden offices, music studios, gyms, guest rooms, creative workshops, and tranquil hideaways — each with its own personality and purpose. Whatever your vision, we’ll help you turn it into a space that’s both practical and inspiring.
No two garden rooms are ever the same. We start by understanding how you’ll use the space — whether it’s for work, relaxation, or entertaining — then tailor every aspect to fit your lifestyle and taste. Size, layout, materials, glazing, insulation, and finishes are all customisable. This means your garden room doesn’t just fit your garden — it enhances it, both functionally and aestheticall

“We are so pleased with the garden room that Derwen built for us, its transformed how we use the space outside. The fit and finish is great and it was built with no fuss or bother!”
Brian Evans

Windows & Doors

From classic timber-framed windows to large picture panes, French doors, or sleek aluminium sliding doors, every choice is made to complement your design and enhance natural light. Bifold doors are especially popular – opening up the entire frontage to create a seamless connection between your garden room and outdoor space.
Year Round Comfort

Your garden room is built to be enjoyed in every season. With quality insulation, double glazing, and a range of heating solutions, they provide a comfortable, energy-efficient environment – cool in summer, warm in winter. Whether you’re creating a home office or a garden retreat, you’ll have a space that feels just right, all year long.
Electricals

Electrical installations are carried out and certified by a fully qualified electrician, with power safely wired underground to your garden room. We’ll guide you through the options – from ambient and task lighting to heating and power sockets, we’ll make sure whether you’re working, relaxing, or entertaining, your garden room will have power exactly where and how you need it.

Delivery and installation
We’ll deliver and install your garden room on site – typically mounting the frame securely on ground screws to ensure it’s safe.
Installation is carefully planned at the time of the site survey before the build starts, to ensure that everything goes smoothly.
We’re experts at installing in challenging locations, and can normally deliver our rooms via low loaders and telehandlers – building the structure in sections and assembling on site where there is narrow access.
Where access would be otherwise impossible, we can use a crane to lift the building into position.
Planning permission
Since October 2008, outbuildings around your home are considered to be a ‘permitted development’ and, with some restrictions, may not require planning permission.
Whilst we’ve found that the majority of garden rooms in a back garden do not require planning permission, we can help guide you through what’s possible – and work with an architect where appropriate to ensure that any planning requirements needed are met.
Please be aware that whilst we’re happy to help, but responsibility for compliance with planning requirements rests with the customer.
